Outsourcing: Riding the Indian Success Story
|
So
successful has the experiment in off-shoring / outsourcing to India been in an
increasingly integrated world market, that today, the easy charms of a
transitioning India, including low costs, large talent pool, stable business
environment and high efficiency levels, have turned the sub-continent into a
most attractive business destination.
Although, India has never been a completely alien experience for expatriate professionals, as companies like Bata and Dunlop swarmed with ‘firangs’ read that as ‘foreigners’, the expatriates of yesterday viewed India as a punishment posting.
