How HTML 5 can Affect Search Engine Optimization.

What is relationship between HTML 5 and SEO? It has been one of convoluted queries on the web for a while. When some web analysts said that HTML 5 may reduce the scope of Search Engine Optimization, many others opposed this claim.

HTML 5 offers improved flexibility for web developers and designers. When combined with CSS3, HTML 5 can create a magic on the web. HTML 5 is expected to replace Flash animation to a large extent. HTML 5‘s use of Gradient, Transitions, Canvas and Transforms which largely influence the designing of web pages. For SEO, HTML 5 is considered as a serious threat because of its new semantic elements. It is feared that they will determine search engine page ranks of web sites in future.

These all claims are presumptuous that HTML 5 will evolve the entire SEO concept. Search Engine Optimization is an effort to develop the traffic to a particular web site via article submissions, link building and other social media campaigns. According to reliable resources HTML 5 will never be a threat for Search engine optimization. Page rankings of a web site are more dependent on relevant content and quality back links. HTML5’s semantic elements will not affect SEO in any way.

On the other hand, HTML 5 has many useful semantic elements and tags. Unlike its previous versions, HTML 5 has offered many multiple options to its developers.

They are not capable enough to beat SEO techniques in bringing a web page in top list of search engine results. We can say that HTML 5 and SEO will compliment each other and go hand in hand.
