YouTube Doubles Video File Size to 2G

Video-sharing site YouTube has allowed its users to post more high-definition (HD) video by increasing the size limit for uploads on its website.
YouTube, in a blog post, said the size limit for uploads to the site was being doubled from one gigabyte to two gigabytes. This increase would help you in uploading longer videos at a higher resolution as well as large HD files directly from your camera.
Along with increasing the file size from 1GB to 2 GB, Youtube have also implemented some new features which will make it easier for the users to share HD videos. The changes will allow users to share links directly to the HD version of videos, as well as to embed the HD version with ease.
Many of the users may be aware about how to do this previously, as it was possible. However, they have now publicly made these options clear and have integrated the HD embed code options on your blog or website.
